Illusion Art

Recently illusion art has been popular that many artists had created interesting pieces. Those illusion art pieces are usually created in places that are no longer use. As you can see, in this picture, the artists created this by painted in a ruined movie theater. The rock man from the picture is called the Thing. Thing is a member of fantastic four which is one of Marvel superhero character. I believe the creator’s purpose of creating this illusion piece and chose to paint the rock man is to brighten up a place that might use to be very creepy. Just by looking at the picture, it gives us the illusion of feeling the rock man is running towards us. It’s seems very realistic that make us think that this work has three dimension but it is really a two dimension paint. I believed the hardest part of this piece is to connect those chairs in the painting with those real chairs. The preparation of making the painting might be more difficult than actual painting the place. It might even take a team to finish this painting. I believed one person has to constantly check the position of the painting matches the actual environment. In order for this piece to seem realistic every element is crucial, including the color of the size and color of the chairs, the shadow of the rock man, the lights. After all, I think this group did the wonderful job brighten up an old movie theater.
